After a year in which Vans’ heritage suddenly felt fresh again, the OTW line is stepping further into that momentum. The Knu Skool revival, coupled with a steady stream of collaborations, has reframed how people are viewing the brand’s core models, making space for new creative voices to reinterpret the classics.
Within that context, Imran Potato’s take on the Vans Authentic lands with deliberate contrast rather than simple pattern play. One shoe leans warm—tan, pink, and red over a cheetah print base—while its counterpart counters with teal at the heel and a sharper black, white, and yellow mix toward the toe. The canvas upper keeps the silhouette clean, letting the color split do the talking, with co-branded insoles and printed lace tips tying the project together.
The mismatch feels less like a novelty and more like a considered evolution of Potato’s visual language, suggesting OTW is prioritizing distinct point-of-view over safe collaboration.
Expect the Imran Potato x Vans OTW Authentic to release later in 2026 through Vans OTW channels and select retailers.
