SR Studio Vans Old Skool Authentic Release Date

Following a much-hyped treatment inspired by an iconic Chanel handbag, the Vans Old Skool is getting another extreme transformation sure to turn heads.

The SR Studio x OTW by Vans Old Skool 36 and Authentic 44 are both hit with an explosion of marble print. Little territory of the bright yellow sneakers is spared as a black and white marbled pattern covers the entirety of the canvas uppers and midsoles. Branding for the artist Sterlin Ruby’s brand then appears on the tongue and laces, while the outsoles get upgrades courtesy of Vibram.

Replacing Vault by Vans, OTW Vans launched in 2024 and has been widely praised for both its collaborations and retooling of some of the brand’s most iconic sneakers. SR Studio became the line’s first collaborator with a set of Sk8-His in high-vis orange and yellow with fractured paneling, and the two parties reunited late last year for a capsule of four sneakers.

After a years-long slide, Vans appears to be headed for a rebound. Despite sales dropping 14 percent in the first quarter of fiscal 2026, VF Corp. president Bracken Darrell pointed to increased retailer interest and the proliferation of skate-inspired sneakers from luxury labels as reasons for optimism for the brand.

“These are the style centers and the tastemakers,” Darrell said in a late-July earnings call. “Trends start in the luxury market, as we saw in fashion week for Timberland with Louis Vuitton last June. I’m not suggesting that Vans will be growing 9 percent a year from now, but I am excited to see the tide turning on skate style shoes and luxury where trends start.”

The SR Studio x OTW by Vans Old Skool 36 and Authentic 44 will release Aug. 14 through Vans’ website. Pricing for the Old Skool is set at $150 and the Authentic $130.
