Born X Raised blends two cultures by bringing Venice to Mexico City and launching a unique edition of the Vans Authentic, along with a weeklong celebration of both communities.
The collaboration was unveiled at House of Vans Mexico City and included a display of Born X Raised merchandise, the option to customize Vans with Born X Raised graphics and a station for making custom bracelets. Los Diablos and New Era also participated in the event.
Photos shared by Born X Raised and Vans show the collaboration and offer the first look at the Authentic. Spanto and 2Tone founded Born X Raised around the graffiti, skate culture and community found throughout Venice. Following the tragic loss of Spanto in 2023, the brand continues his legacy without losing sight of its foundations.
Born X Raised thanked Mexico City for the hospitality, pointing to the food, nightlife and overall energy of the city.
The Born X Raised x Vans Authentic has only been released in Mexico City so far. The rest of the world can expect to see the collaboration sometime in 2027.
