BAPE Vans Knu Skool Release Date

by Nicolas

BAPE and Vans are linking back up, this time bringing the Japanese streetwear label’s camo-heavy DNA to the Vans Knu Skool.

This latest drop builds upon the brands’ 2024 partnership, which saw them use contrasting APE camo panels on the Sk8-Mid and Old Skool. For 2026, this split-panel treatment has been applied to the Knu Skool. Taking cues from a plush skate shoe design channeling late-’90s Vans vibes, the Knu Skool’s exceptionally large tongue, hefty frame, and amplified side branding contribute to its bold aesthetic, making it a natural canvas for BAPE’s graphics.

Two colorways are included in the collection. The “Color Camo Black” pair keeps things darker, using black BAPE camo on the lateral side while the medial side features a monochrome checkerboard pattern. The louder “Color Camo” version mixes olive camouflage on the outer panels with pink and purple camo across the opposite side.

Instead of Vans’ traditional SideStripe, BAPE adds its signature star logo to both pairs. That swap gives the shoes a stronger streetwear feel without completely removing the Knu Skool’s skate roots. A sculpted midsole adds to the bulky shape and finishes off the design.
