Coca-Cola Converse Chuck 70 Collection

It doesn’t get more ’Murican than Coca-Cola and Converse. After coming together on a handful of collections under Ronnie Fieg’s Kith umbrella from 2017 to 2020, the iconic soda-and-shoe duo is back in the headlines with a new project — this time on their own.

Three leather Chuck 70s lead the collection, all of which feature the same general design formula. Coca-Cola’s script logo is represented by an extra splice of leather that effectively splits the upper, running from the spine and expanding around the bottom two eyelets. The outsoles nod to Coca-Cola bottles with a light green, semi-translucent tint, while co-branded insoles feature refreshing soda graphics. Metallic silver eyelets add durability, while the branded circles on the medial sides take inspiration from — you guessed it — bottle caps.

Importantly, Coca-Cola’s highly popular personalization campaign is present on the insoles and inner tongue, both of which include space for consumers to write in their name. Expanding on that theme, Converse is also set to release customizable Chuck Taylor All Stars featuring canvas in early November.

As for the leather Chuck 70s, three colorways are on tap: red, black, and white. The red colorway begins the collection’s rollout on October 9th, priced at $110. The other two styles are set to release later on. See official images below if you’re considering going for a pair.
