Converse and Los Angeles-based clothing brand Madhappy are back with another collaboration.
For this collection, the duo has released five limited-edition takes on the signature Chuck 70, both high and Ox. Each colorway – which includes Graystone, Lipstick Red, Natural Ivory, Black, and Thunderdaze Pinstripe – are intended to “ground” the lineup in Americana hues for summer.
Core Converse elements are seen throughout the capsule, including nostalgic felt patches, oversized star cut-outs in suede, pinstripe interiors, and cursive co-branding, while Madhappy brings its signature optimistic perspective, premium materials, and hand-done finishes to the line.

To launch the newest collection, the duo tapped musician Gene Gallagher to star in a campaign photographed by Angela Hill. According to Madhappy, the spot builds on the visual language from the duo’s initial release and portrays youth at its most unfiltered: driven by instinct, energy, and constant motion. “Both nostalgic and immediate, it captures a natural ease, quiet confidence, and forward-looking optimism at the core of each brand,” the company said.
This newest collection follows the duo’s first release in December. The release introduced three reworked Chuck 70 styles built around washed canvas, raw-edge construction and Madhappy’s signature star details. All three pairs — offered in Vintage White, Black and Thunder Daze — featured a heavy-washed canvas upper designed to look worn in from the start.
The campaign from the debut drop last year featured influencer Enya Umanzor and was lensed by Gillian Garcia, shot outdoors across grass and concrete.
The latest Converse x Madhappy Chuck 70 Hi, which retails for $130 and Ox, which retails for $120, will launch on Friday, May 15, via Madhappy.com, Madhappy Shops, Converse.com, and select retailers. The Graystone colorway of the Chuck 70 Hi is available exclusively at Madhappy.
