Vans leans into military references for its Field Pack, bringing the theme across the Half Cab Decon, Old Skool, and Authentic without making every pair feel like the same shoe.
The Old Skool gets the most detailed treatment. Its side panel features a netted layer inspired by World War II helmet covers, and Vans designed that material to wear away over time so another layer shows through underneath. It gives the shoe a more broken-in feel, which fits the field gear concept better than a straight camo makeover.
Camouflage still shows up in the pack, giving the collection a more obvious link to military uniforms while also fitting the wider return of camo in streetwear. The black-and-white pairs take a different route. Instead of leaning on a full print, they pull more from combat boots and dog tags. On the Authentic, the toe hardware brings back some of that pearlized Vans feel and gives the low-top a small detail it needed.
The Vans Field Pack releases July 16, 2026 through Vans. Pricing is set at $100 for the Half Cab Decon and Authentic, while the Old Skool retails for $115.
